Short Bio
Hanieh Ashrafirad is currently a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University, under the supervision of Dr. Virgilio Valente. She received the M.Sc. degree in Integrated Electronics Circuit Design from SBU (Shahid Beheshti University) in 2017 and the B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from SBU (Shahid Beheshti University) in 2015. She was a member of NODET (National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents) and placed in the top 1% of students in the Iranian National University Entrance exam in 2011. She is currently a teaching assistant in the ECE department, being TA in ELE302 (Electric Networks) and EES 604 (Electronics and Sensors) courses. Her research focuses on developing a CMOS potentiostat for wearable and implantable biosensors.
