Short Bio

Sima Darbasi received the BS degree in electrical engineering (communications) from Azad Urmia University in 2013 and M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems – MEMS) from Urmia University in 2018. She is currently a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. Virgilio Valente. Her work over the past years has resulted in several conference papers and journal articles. She is currently a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering. Her current research interests include, mechanical and electrical behavior of MEMS structures, sensors and ultrasonic transducers, bio-MEMS, micro and nano-fabrication technologies.
